Aleph-Beit School’s Schedule

Aleph-Beit Hebrew School Schedule:

Hebrew School will be on Sunday’s from 10:30-12:30

This year we will be breaking the students in 2 levels for Jewish Studies.  The older group will be learning concepts in The Jewish Home (6 weeks) and the land of Israel in combination with learning about the holidays.  The younger group will be learning each chapter in the first book of the Torah, Breishis (Genesis) with a very interactive, creative curriculum as well as learning about the timely holidays.

There are unlimited levels of Hebrew study (this will be better understood at the orientation, as we use a karate theme), once one gets past the 9th.  On the “testing days” that are noted we are trying to evaluate how the student is progressing, see if they need help with anything in particular, and to determine if the student is ready to move to the next level.  Parents should try to practice w/their children b/4 these days.
